Florida Family Courts require parents with minor children to complete a parenting course before a parenting plan can be finalized.
This course is approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families as the Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course. It is a minimum of 4 hours and is designed to educate, train, and assist divorcing parents in regards to the impact of divorce on parents and children. The course has a timer which will track the amount of time you spend in the course. You do not have to complete the four (4) hours all at one time. You can log in and out as many times as needed until you complete the course and reach the required four (4) hour minimum. A timer will be displayed on each page to track time spent in the course. You can refresh your page to update the timer/clock. Participants have 30 days to complete the course from day of registration and payment.
A Certificate of Completion will be given to the participant that completes a minimum four (4) hours in the Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course and receives a score of at least 70% on the end of course test. The End of Course Test will not be available until the participant has met the four (4) hour requirement. Once the timer has reached four (4) hours, the test will automatically be unlocked and accessible to the participant.
The end of the Course Test is designed to demonstrate the level of comprehension of the learning objectives by participants. The participant must obtain a score of 70% or better to earn a Certificate of Completion. If you do not obtain a score of 70% you must retake the Test until you obtain a score of 70%. The test is not timed and may be retaken at no additional cost until you receive a passing score.
The test 25 questions Multiple Choice. The test is not timed and can be taken unlimited times until passes. For the test, please identify the choice that best completes the statement or answers the question. There is only one correct answer per question.
The Course is self-paced, available 24/7 and available for 30 days to complete starting from day of registration and payment.
Our course is approved by Florida’s Department of Children and Families and will meet your requirement by the Florida Courts.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
The overall emphasis of this course is to offer parents the knowledge to provide their children the opportunity to grow up in a home environment free from being caught in the middle of their parents’ hostility.
- Educate parents about children’s issues in divorce.
- Educate parents regarding the impact of parental conflict on their child’s development.
- Help parents identify their contribution to conflict while increasing impulse control.
- Assist parents in shifting their role from former spouses to co-parents.
- Teach parents anger management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
