Indigent/In Forma Pauperis Status Discount

Important Notice: Reduced Fee Eligibility

If you qualify as indigent or in forma pauperis under court order, you must submit a copy of your court documentation via email before registering for the course. Once received, we will review your submission and email you a coupon code to enter at the time of registration. By selecting the “Indigent / In Forma Pauperis” option during checkout, you will then be prompted to enter the coupon code before submitting payment to receive 50% off the course fee.

Please note that once court documents are reviewed, coupon codes are issued only during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.


How to Sbumit Court Documentation

  1. Email Required Documentation
    Send a copy of your Court Order of Indigent Status or In Forma Pauperis approval to info@parentinganddivorceclass.com
  2. Wait for Verification
    Our team will review your documentation during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, EST). Once verified, we will email you a coupon code and detailed instructions.
  3. Register for the Course
    Complete the online registration form.
    • For Question #3 at the end of the form, select “Yes” to indicate that you have a coupon code.
  4. Enter the Coupon Code
    Before submitting payment, enter the coupon code provided.
    • The coupon code field appears at the bottom of the registration form before entering your payment information.
    • The system will automatically apply the 50% discount.
  5. Make the Reduced Payment
    Proceed with payment using the discounted total shown.

  • Failure to select this option at the time of purchase will result in being charged the full course fee.
  • Failure to submit the court document and enter the coupon code before the time of purchase will result in being charged the full course fee.
  • Once payment has been processed at the full rate, the discount cannot be applied retroactively.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Once payment has been submitted, access to course materials is immediately granted; therefore, we are unable to provide refunds, credits, or exchanges for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Accidental registration
  • Change of mind or personal circumstances
  • Failure to complete the course within the allotted time
  • Court or agency non-acceptance (students are responsible for verifying approval before registering)

Does my co-parent have to take the same co-parenting class as me?

Courts typically require both parents to complete a Parenting Course. Each parent must create their own account and register separately using a unique username and password. This ensures that each parent has individual access to the course and can complete and submit their own End-of-Course Test.

Will this course meet my requirements for the courts?

Florida – This training course meets the requirements set forth by the State of Florida, Fla. Stat. § 61.21, and the Florida Department of Children and Families. It is your responsibility to verify if your circuit court allows distance learning or requires a Live In-Person course versus distance learning.

Minnesota – This training course meets the requirements set forth by the Minnesota Judicial branch – Pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 518.157

Nebraska – This training course meets the requirements set forth by Nebraska Legislature Statute Chapter 43-2928.

What States is your Online Course Approved with the Courts?

Our courses are currently approved in Florida, Minnesota, and Nebraska, and we are continually working to expand approval to additional states.

Please Note: It is your responsibility to verify with your specific court that they accept online or “distance learning” courses for credit or compliance purposes.

Is this course completed online?

Our courses are online, self-paced distance learning programs that are completed 100% online. The benefit of this format is that you can access the course anytime, 24/7, and progress at your own pace.

Please note that you have 30 days from the date of registration and payment to complete the course.

How can I pay for this course?

We accept all major credit cards. To register, complete the online registration process and submit your payment through our secure checkout page on the website.

How do I gain access to the course?

Each participant must create an account with a username and password when registering and submitting payment for the course on our website. You will be prompted to enter your email address or username and password each time you log in to access the course.

How long does this course take to complete?

The duration of the course varies based on your state’s specific requirements.

  • Florida: Requires a 4-hour course.
  • Minnesota: Requires an 8-hour course for court approval. However, a 4-hour Minnesota Parenting Class is also available for those not required by the court to complete the 8-hour program.
  • Nebraska: Requires a 2–4-hour course.

You must meet your state’s minimum time requirement before the End-of-Course Test becomes available. Please note that some participants may take longer to complete the course, depending on reading pace and participation.

A course timer is located in the upper right corner of your screen to track your total time spent in the course. The time tracker will update each time you change pages in the course.

You may log in and out as often as needed until you have completed the state-required time. Course access remains available for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Do I have to complete this course in one sitting?

You may complete the course in as many sessions as needed to meet the minimum time requirement established by your state. To resume the course, simply log in using your username or email address and password, then select “My Course” from the top of the home page.

How do I Start the Online Course or Print My Certificate?

Starting Your Course

After registering, log in to your account using the username and password created during registration.

  1. Select “My Course” at the top of the homepage.
  2. Scroll halfway down the page to the section under the blue stripe labeled “Registered.”
  3. Click the arrow next to your course title to expand and access all lessons and topics.
  4. Begin the course and complete each lesson as instructed.

Printing Your Certificate

Once you have completed the course and successfully passed the End-of-Course Test, a link will appear allowing you to print or download your Certificate of Completion.
You can also access your certificate at any time by selecting “My Course” from the homepage.

To receive your Official Certificate of Completion, ensure the following requirements are met:

  • You have met your state’s minimum time requirement (visible on the timer in the upper-right corner).
  • All lessons and topics have been reviewed and marked complete.
  • The final quiz has been completed and passed.

When all requirements are satisfied, your official certificate will appear on your “My Course” page in green text, displaying the name of your course.

Each certificate will include the name you entered at registration and a unique Certificate Identification Number for verification and to prevent duplication.

What system or device must I use to access the Online "Distance Learning" Course?

You can access the course from most smartphones, tablets, or laptop computers. To ensure proper functionality, please use a supported internet browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.

Is there a timer on the lessons?

To meet your state’s minimum course requirements, a timer is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen once you begin the course. This timer tracks the total time you spend actively completing the program. The time tracker will update the current time spent in the course each time you change the page.

The course is self-paced and does not need to be completed in one session. You may log in and out as often as needed until you reach your state’s required minimum time. Your progress and accumulated time will be saved automatically each time you log out.

Once the timer reaches your state’s required time, the End-of-Course Quiz will become available. Please note, the quiz is not timed.

Important: You have 30 days from the date of payment to complete the course in full.

There are Activities in some of the Lessons; do I have to complete them?

You are encouraged to take the time you need to complete the course, and you may exceed the minimum number of hours required by your state. Although your state establishes the minimum completion time, you are welcome to continue beyond that to further enhance your knowledge and fully engage with the materials provided.

Will I be tested on the content of the course?

In compliance with your state’s requirements, an end-of-course test will be available once you have reviewed all lessons and topics and met the minimum time requirement established by your state.

To successfully complete the course and earn your certificate, you must achieve a score of 70% or higher on the final test.

The test consists of 25 multiple-choice questions, is not timed, and may be retaken as many times as necessary until a passing score is achieved.

Please note that you have 30 days from the date of registration and payment to complete the course in full.

Is there a time limit for the End of Course Test?

The test is not timed; however, once you begin, it must be completed in a single sitting.

What happens if I do not pass the Test at the end of the course?

You will have the opportunity to review your responses and receive information on where to locate the correct answers within the course material. It is recommended that you review the content thoroughly before retaking the test.

Is there a certificate for completing the course and how will I get it?

When registering for the course, you will be prompted to enter your full legal name exactly as it appears on your court documents. After completing the course and passing the End-of-Course Test, a link will appear allowing you to print or download your certificate. You may also access your certificate at any time by logging into your account using the username and password you created during registration and selecting “My Course” at the top of the home page.

Once your course time requirement (displayed by the timer in the upper right corner) has been met, all lessons and topics have been reviewed, and the quiz has been successfully completed, your Official Certificate of Completion will become available on your “My Course” page, displayed in green text with the course title.

Your certificate will display the name entered at registration and include a unique Certificate Identification Number to ensure authenticity and prevent duplication.

How will I know if the certificate will be accepted in my circuit?

Our courses are currently approved by the Florida Courts and the Florida Department of Children and Families, as well as recognized by the Nebraska and Minnesota Court Systems.

We strongly recommend that you confirm with your circuit court or attorney to ensure they will accept online (distance learning) courses before registration.

Will BayBrooke Center send the Court my Certificate of Completion?

No. After completing the course, it is your responsibility to provide a copy of your Certificate of Completion to the court. Upon finishing the course, you will be able to download your certificate for your records.

If electronic filing instructions or specific submission requirements are available for your court, they will be provided to you upon course completion.

I lost my certificate, How can I receive a replacement?

As long as you have successfully completed the course, you may log in to your account at any time to download your Certificate of Completion. If you are unable to access your account, you may also contact us directly to request that a copy be emailed to you.

Do I have to answer the Course Evaluation attached to the Course?

Yes. However, participation in the course evaluation is completely anonymous. BayBrooke Center uses this information solely to enhance understanding and improve resources related to shared parenting.

What if I forget my password?

You will be prompted to enter your email address, and an email will be sent to you with a secure link to reset your password.

Logging into Course or Locked out of Course.

When logging into the website, you must use the original email or username and password you created when registering for the course.

You will have three (3) login attempts to enter the correct credentials. If an incorrect username/email or password is entered three times, your account will be locked for four (4) hours. You may attempt to log in again after the 4-hour lockout period.

This security measure is in place to protect your personal information.

Please write down or securely store the username/email and password you used at registration to avoid being locked out of your account.
